VISUAL STORYTELLING + PORTRAITURE

The way I photograph is a balance between storytelling and portraiture. For most of the day I am simply documenting all the moments as they happen. It’s real, it’s authentic and about human connection. It’s love & laughter, kissing & dancing, tears & embraces and all spontaneous expressions of joy. I want you to just enjoy being yourselves and savouring your day.

I also want to ensure you have the most beautiful portraits to enjoy for years to come. It doesn’t need to take over your whole day but these are the images you may print and treasure for years and with generations to come.

FAQ

DO YOU OFFER WEEKDAY DISCOUNTS?

I do. If you are getting married between Monday – Friday in Central London I can offer you a 25% discount off my packages.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes, I do. I offer gift vouchers for wedding albums if you would like to add them to your wedding gift list. If you’re loved ones would like to contribute to the cost of wedding photography, this is also possible. Please ask for more details.

DO YOU SHOOT SAME-SEX WEDDINGS?

Yes! I’m interested in people who are in love and that’s all that matters to me.

DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

Yes! Absolutely. I love to travel and have shot in Australia, New York, Mauritius, Germany, Italy and all across the UK. For more information about what this involves you can read this.

CAN WE SEE YOUR WEDDING GALLERIES?

Please take some time to look at some of my wedding blog posts to see if you like my style of photography. I often post around 100 images across a whole day so that you can see what my photography looks like. If you’d like to see more please let me know.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes. I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance. If you need copies of the certificates please let me know.

CAN YOU HELP US PLAN OUR SCHEDULE?

When it comes to giving you advice on timings for photography, absolutely. In my initial consultation we discuss your plans and I talk you through certain considerations. I also give all my couples a copy of my exclusive wedding photography guide and I am always available if you have any questions.

You can also keep up to date with my wedding planning blog posts by following my facebook page or viewing them here.

DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

I usually shoot alone but I will bring a second photographer if this has been agreed as part of your package or if I need any extra assistance. I suggest a second photographer if you are having a large wedding or if you want extensive coverage as I can only be in one place at a time. This can be useful if you would like a photographer to cover groom’s preparations for example. I will be able to advise you specifically once I have a better understanding of your wedding schedule, planning and expectations.

TRAVEL WITHIN UK

All travel & accommodation costs are included for weddings within the UK. Depending on the location, I often arrive the day before and stay at a local B&B or Premier Inn so that I am ready for your day.

DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?

You are welcome to use the provided images for YOUR personal use only. You can share them with friends, publish them on facebook, send them on email, print them for your mantlepiece, give prints as gifts to family and so on. But according to copyright law and my own photography contract, I will retain the copyright to my work in perpetuity.

CAN WE MEET YOU FIRST?

If you’d like to meet with me before making a booking I am very happy to meet somewhere in London. Or we can chat on Skype. That way I can talk you through how I work and answer any questions you may have so that you know what to expect from me and to see if you feel I am the right photographer for you. It’s also just nice to get to know you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR IMAGES?

It takes approximately 6-8 weeks to deliver your wedding images, particularly in the busy summer months. I try to deliver them as soon as possible because I know you will be bursting with excitement, but it does take time and care to process them.
