EAST LONDON HOXTON ARCHES WEDDING // Once upon a time, before I was a wedding photographer, I studied Journalism with a very intelligent, fun & gorgeous girl called Sara. Back then we sat in the classroom late in the evenings wondering where it would all lead us. Well it led to this summer, when this fabulous lady married a fantastic guy called Simon and I got to be the lucky photographer to capture the day for them.
I LOVED Sara & Simon’s wedding SO MUCH!!! It was packed so full of glamour, colour, fun and a real easy-going vibe right in the heart of East London. There was dancing but there was also pokemon catching, chilling out in the yard of Hoxton Arches, friends sitting on the street chatting and a group of us running around the neighbourhood in the late hours to grab fun pictures from Sara’s old haunts. It was perfect really. The whole day seemed to be arranged with the minimum fuss and simplicity for maximum enjoyment. It was the calmest bridal prep in the world, there was no bouquet, no cake cutting, the cakes they did have were homemade gifts from friends and there were dinosaurs! Lots of golden dinosaurs that some guests may or may not have been trying to take home in their handbag.
It was only a few weeks ago and I want to go back and do it all again. So here are lots of happy snaps of what a cool and glamorous East London wedding looks like.
